Our Pastor
Church Ministry:
Michael Ayres is the Pastor of Reign of Grace Church. He started in Ministry while in High School playing piano and composing music for a ministry team called Luke 4:18. Luke 4:18 was a national ministry team that demonstrated and taught Worship Skills and Contemporary Worship Team Building.
After College he committed to helping a new church start in Webster Groves, Missouri. Christ The King Church for the first 14 of those years he served as a Chief Musician & Music Minister. While there, he was discipled by Dr. Michael Peters. Feeling the call of God on his life to be a Pastor, he trained others to take his place in the music ministry and was sent out with seven families to start a church in Washington, MO.
Education:
Michael holds a Bachelor of Music in Theory and Composition degree from Webster University. He has taken classes towards his Masters degree at Covenant Seminary and has some graduate level electives from Webster University as well.
Other Work Ministry:
Michael is also honored to be currently serving as the Site Admin of Mercy information Technology Services for the Sister’s of Mercy, in St Louis, Missouri.
Both ministries are a pleasure to serve in. Working a “regular job” keeps pastors in touch with the struggles of the “real world”, and provides many ministry opportunities.
